Phew! The holiday season is upon us, oh my. Between the mad rush at the shop and hand making all my gifts this year, I’ve let the blog writing slip a little and for that, I apologize. I am hoping to have many lovely, festive photos up for you soon. We have the most incredible product in right now; tons of different evergreens, branches, four different kinds of eucalyptus (!), some gorgeous pepperberry, and peppermint amaryllis.
I’ve made so many wreaths, garlands, and centerpieces, I’m beginning to think my hands will be permanently cedar-scented.
(I took this one home with me).

I’m one of those people whose love of Christmas is bordering on unhealthy. I’ve been drinking eggnog since October, secretly listening to Sufjan Stevens’ 6 volume Songs for Christmas for the past 3 weeks, and drawing up schematics for the shop’s holiday decorations in my sleep.
The wreath class is one week away! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch my infectious holiday spirit. Go visit Little Garden Studio for more info.

Aaand I’m back. I apologize for the hiatus; things have been a little crazy around the shop lately. Here’s a little montage of the last couple of weeks…
Lo’s bday!

Lovely bags by the even lovelier Sam of Post Grad Haircut. We sell them!
There. Now you’re all caught up.
a good day.

Autumn nights in Vancouver… drink wine, wander down to the beach, dorkily stop to point out flowers while my friends shake their heads at me, climb trees, take photos.
ps – I put up photos of this week’s flowers. They’re purdy.
absolutely nothing to do with flowers.

Today, I was really excited to post photos of the shop. Lo and I spent the whole of our holiday Monday (Canadian Thanksgiving!) rearranging furniture, and the end result is fabulous. We moved our work stations, completely redid the cash area, and even redesigned our main window display for October. Basically, we’re amazing. NBD.
So yes, I was all set to share pictures of this awesome redesign, but I got home and realized I’d forgotten the cord with which to transfer said photos onto my laptop (whose name is Isis, just fyi). Therefore, instead of pretty shop pictures, you get this:
It came from here. I know you’ll all thank me for this later.
